Postwire is a self-hosted connector that lets Claude and ChatGPT search, read and organize your Purelymail mailbox, and prepare replies that are only sent after you approve them.

- Search across mailboxes and folders, read messages and complete conversations.
- Extract text from PDF, DOCX, TXT and CSV attachments.
- Create, edit and preview drafts with any of your authorized From addresses.
- Send a draft only after you have seen it and approved it.
- Mark read/unread, flag, archive and move messages. Nothing is permanently deleted.
How it protects you
- OAuth 2.1 with PKCE; you approve each AI client and choose its permissions.
- Mailbox passwords encrypted with AES-256-GCM, never shown to AI clients.
- Email content is treated as untrusted data; it can never authorize a send.
- A global sending switch, hourly limit, new-recipient warnings and allow/block lists.
- Duplicate-safe sending, with every send attempt and its real status recorded.
